Linseed oil (also known as flaxseed) – The essential fatty acids , particularly alpha-linolenic acid (a type of omega-3), play a crucial role in strengthening hair. These nutrients penetrate the hair cortex, improving its internal structure.
Linseed Oil is also kind to the scalp. Dryness and flaking of the scalp can be caused by various factors, such as climate changes, hormonal imbalances, or the use of harsh products. Linseed oil, with its essential fatty acids, helps to restore the hydric balance, reducing dryness and preventing flaking.
Marula Oil – Marula oil is rich in many fatty acids which help to maintain the appearance of thick, healthy hair, and visibly improve hair growth and scalp conditions.
Marula Oil is a moisturising powerhouse, so perfect for those with dry hair. It doesn’t leave hair feeling weighed down or greasy, making it a great choice for all hair types and textures, including oily hair and fine hair.
Murumuru butter for hair has highly moisturising properties that can help protect strands and lock in moisture. It softens while locking in its goodness, which helps keep your hair shiny and healthy. Murumuru butter also helps restore hair and maintain elasticity, helping to boost colour.
In testing the feedback for hair types 3 and 4 was excellent. It doesn’t offer a strong hold as such but many reported neat curls / coils , added shine and definition and everybody liked the cranberry fragrance !
The feedback was a bit more mixed for wavy hair, of the 12 wavies that trialled it all but 1 said they liked it and would purchase.
One stand out piece of feedback was that it seems to work really well on wet or damp hair.
As ever you shouldn’t need to use much.
